About the Journal
FOCUS AND SCOPE
It is a technical-scientific publication of the INSTITUTO SUPERIOR TECNOLÓGICO "DE TECNOLOGÍAS APROPIADAS" - INSTA, published since 2018 on an annual basis. It aims to disseminate original articles, reviews, opinions and essays in the areas related to the research lines of the Institution, which are the following:
ARBITRATION SYSTEM
INSTA Magazine is a refereed journal governed by the double anonymous peer review system.
The articles submitted by the authors are previously evaluated by the Editorial Committee to check if their content conforms to the editorial standards and the thematic areas of the journal.
When the article passes the first filter, it is sent to two external evaluators who are experts in the subject matter addressed by the author. In order to comply with and defend the ethics of the research, the evaluators are always external to the institution to which the author belongs and are in charge of deciding whether the article meets the scientific interests of the journal and whether it should be published. The evaluators will decide: publishable, publishable with minor modifications, publishable with major modifications or not publishable. In the event of a difference of opinion between reviewers, the Scientific Committee will request the review of a third expert, who will resolve the conflict of opinion.
FREQUENCY
INSTA MAGAZINE publications are published every January on an annual basis, however, the reception of articles is continuous, articles can be updated and entered at any time.
